Santa Barbara, CA, December 18, 2018–Lobero LIVEis proud to present a series of specially curated evenings inrock ‘n roll courtesy of Hale Milgrim in Go to Hale: Film Series 1. Hale Milgrim’s musical journey started behind the counter at Isla Vista’s Discount Records, and has spiraled upward through a succession of positions at major record labels, leading eventually to a stint as the President of Capitol Records. Since returning to Santa Barbara with his wife Anne, he has continued to work and support with local musicincluding the Sings Like Hell series, and put on on a regular radio show, called “Go to Hale,” for several years on KTYD. Join Hale for a visual, musical journey through live concert footage from pivotal moments over the last 50 years complete with his memorable insights, commentary and illumination. Or not.

Sunday, September 11 -The Concert for New York City

In Honor of the 15th Anniversary of September 11

Hale has carefully crafted a loving tribute to honor the 15th anniversary of 9/11 with powerful excerpts from the Concert for New York City, featuring over 60 legendary artists including Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, Elton John, Eric Clapton, James Taylor, John Mellencamp, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, The Who, and many more.

The Lobero Theatre Foundation is proud to underwrite tickets for Santa Barbara’s first responders. A portion of ticket sales from this evening will benefit the Robin Hood Foundation.

Show begins at 7:03 PM sharp. Be sure to get there early, pre-show refreshments will be available beginning at 6:03 PM on the Esplanade, along with silent auction and other fun activities provided by Lobero LIVE and KTYD. Doors open at 6:28 PM.

Tuesday, November 29 -Concert for George

Honoring the 15th anniversary of George Harrison’s passing

On November 29, 2002, one year to the day that George left this world, his closest friends gathered to celebrate his life in the only way they knew how - by playing his music. On the 15th anniversary of George Harrison’s passing, Hale Milgrim will guide audiences through select performances from the moving Concert for George, featuring to Eric Clapton and friends giving the performance of their lives singing George’s songs. Enjoy special performances by Ravi and Anoushka Shankar, Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Billy Preston, the Traveling Wilburys, and of course, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

A portion of ticket sales from this evening will benefit the The Material World Charitable Foundation, founded by George in 1973.

Friday, January 13 - Bob Dylan: 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration

A Toast to 54 Years of Bob Dylan’s career as a recording artist

Dubbed "Bobfest" by Neil Young, the 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration is a live performance in recognition of Bob Dylan's 30 years as a recording artist. Recorded on October 16, 1992, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the concert features many artists performing classic Dylan songs, before ending with songs from Dylan himself.Enjoy performances by members of Booker T. and the MG's, Kris Kristofferson, Roger McGuinn, Ronnie Wood, Johnny Cash and June Carter, Neil Young, Lou Reed, Eddie Vedder, The Band, and more.
