I have been an ISO Consultant since leaving Foodcan (a division of Metal Box / Nampak) in November 1993.
PRESENT SITUATION - PRODUCT/SERVICE
We have ISO 9001: 2000 Certification as Consultants and Trainers to implement the following International Systems.
ISO 9001 - Quality Management
ISO 14001 - Environmental Management, and
HACCP - Food Safety
I have been a SAATCA registered Quality Systems Auditor since 1993, and have performed Audits for the SABS on other ISO 9000 Certified Companies.
We are members of the South African Society for Quality and the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
We were the 1st Consultancy to be certified to ISO 9001:2000 within South Africa. There are currently less than 10 ISO Certified Consultants in South Africa.
During the course of my Consulting career, I have lectured at Stellenbosh University (part time) for 2 years on the subject of Quality Management. This course was 24 x 5 hour sessions and given to Industrial Engineering 3rd year students. I have also lectured on 4 subjects for a Masters Degree on Quality presented at Stellenbosch University. I have also lectured for 3 years to the 3rd year Design Engineering students at the University of Cape Town (UCT) on ISO 9000. We also hold workshops at the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry on ISO 9000.
We have currently assisted over 65 Companies to attain different International certifications, in Quality, Environmental, Food Safety and Laboratory standards. The companies come from a number of different industries, and our systems have been approved by 10 different certification bodies.
We have a 100% success rate.
Lead Auditors from the SABS, Lloyds, DNV and the PPECB have all stated that systems that we have developed are the best that they had ever seen.
