(Coat of Arms) George Gibson placed this stone over the body of his wife Jane Irvine who died June 12th 1799 aged 47 years this inscription fair was her skin yet fairer far her soul spotless pure and steady as the pole free from hyprocracy or mean disguise from fulsome flattery or fawning lies her thoughts she spoke with deceit and her tongue neat varying from her heart still plead and pleading in domestic life she lived a fond she died virtuous wife.

Erected by James Gibson in memory of his father Lieutenant William Gibson late of the Lorg True Blue Infanty who departed this life February 2nd 1825 aged 85 years also Henry Gibson Aughterard who died Novemeber 16th 1865 age 84 years also William Gibson died June 1*th 1876 aged 60 years son and grandson of the above Lieutenant Gibson also Ann wife of the above name William Gibson died June 14th 1878 aged 66 years.

In memory of William Gibson died 3rd April, 1911 and Catherine his wife died 7th January, 1918 and their family.
