PUBLIC COMMENT POLICY-It is the policy of the Naches Town Council to accept public comment on agenda items at the time the item is being discussed during the study session. Public comments regarding items not on the agenda will be heard at the end of the meeting. During the Regular Council Meeting Public Comments will be accepted at the end of the meeting.

All matters listed within the consent agenda have been distributed to each member of the Naches Town Council for reading and study, are considered to be routine, and will be enacted by one motion of the Council with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the consent agenda and placed on the regular agenda by motion of the Council.

d)Approve those Claim Checks dated through August 10, 2009in the amount of $. Check #’s 13016-13. (Will be available on Monday, August 10, 2009, as Clerk Luke is at Training August 5, 6, and 7th)

e)Approve those Payroll Checks dated through July 31, 2009 in the amount of $29,138.85, Check #’s 5240-5267. (Manual Check 95260 Correction check for Direct Deposit)

b)ARRA Construction.

c)Allan Road Study

d)Transfer of Almega Cable Inc. to J&N Cable-Still waiting on Cable Company to return appropriate paperwork.

e)New Proposed Skateboarding Ordinance (Council Members Hawver & Carney supplied feedback for this Ordinance.) Council has the option to review these ordinances and accept them as is, change the ordinance to reflect their different views, table the ordinance, or instruct Attorney Watkins to re-draft and come back next month with the changes.

f)New Proposed Animal Ordinance (Council Members Hawver & Carney supplied feedback for this Ordinance.) Council has the option to review these ordinances and accept them as is, change the ordinance to reflect their different views, table the ordinance, or instruct Attorney Watkins to re-draft and come back next month with the changes.

g)Water Valve Replacement

h)The release of retainage on the Clarifier Mechanism Installation Project is on hold until next month. Clerk Luke contacted the Department of Revenue in regards to the Clearance and it seems TTC Construction was the hold up, as they took about 60 days to return paperwork to the Department of Revenue.

i)Partial Funding for Naches Avenue Rural Programs

a)Motion for an Application for PWTF Grant in the amount of $500,000

b)Motion for an Application for SEID loan in the amount of $500,00 this would be for Water/Sewer extension for US 12.

12)RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES

a)Proposed Ordinance No. 649-An Ordinance of the Town of Naches, Washington, Amending Chapter 6.04: Animals Generally

b)Proposed Ordinance No. 50-An Ordinance of the Town of Naches, Washington, adding Chapter 9.16: Bicycles and other recreational wheels
