1)  In the space below we’d like you to write about a recent lesson where you incorporated a focus on phonology, such as the practice of English phonemes or the use of stress and intonation in sentences. Describe how this was done and comment on how successful you were in achieving your phonological aim(s).

2. Please attach separately a recent lesson plan for one of your regular classes. This can be brief and should contain:

·  Overall aim and main teaching points

·  Class profile

·  Anticipated difficulties and assumed knowledge

·  Materials used (please supply copies of any handouts if possible)

·  Staged procedural notes

3. Look at the following learner error and state:

4. Your group of Intermediate learners have already studied the Present Perfect Simple and Progressive in separate lessons and now wish to present the two forms together by way of comparison and contrast.

a)  Suggest a context that will allow you to present both of these forms to your learners.

b)  Suggest further practice activities that will help your learners to use these two forms correctly.

5. Look at the following pairs of sentences and describe the difference in meaning between them. The first one has been done for you.
