PRAYER FOR THE MINISTRY OF PRAISE

We praise and thank you loving father, for your many blessings and gifts – for the gift of creation, for our faith, our parish, family, friends and in a very special way for those I now call to mind…….. We acknowledge your son, Jesus, who walked this earth to be one with us. He taught us how to pray and showed us how to live. We thank you for sending us your Holy Spirit who continues to gently lead and guide us as we begin each new day. Please hear us as we pray for the many needs of our parish, especially for those intentions recommended to us this month by the Ministry of Praise. Kindly hear these and all the prayers we offer to you this day. AMEN. (Optional: Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be to The Father)

Intentions for June, 2015:

Universal: That volunteers may give themselves generously to the service of the needy.

(Pope Francis I prayer intentions)

Evangelization: That setting aside our very selves we may learn to be neighbors to those who find themselves on the margins of human life and society. (Pope Francis I prayer intentions)

That those who have dedicated themselves to the consecrated life will know God’s blessings.

For this parish community, that our sharing in the Eucharist will transform not only ourselves, but the many in our wider community who are in need.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we pray for all Fathers, Step-fathers, Grandfathers and Fathers-to-be, that they be blessed for the many gifts and blessings they share with their families and friends.

That those who have turned away from the gospel of Christ will soon return to embrace that gospel as the guiding light for their lives.

For the lonely, the alienated, and the orphaned: that they will receive every consolation from the closeness of the Lord.

FOR PEACE IN THE WORLD especially in the Middle East, Holy Land, Africa. For the end of persecutions of Christians and children in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. For the victims of earthquake in Nepal.

That God will preserve the members of our armed forces and keep them from all harm.

That the sick will know the comfort and healing , especially:
