PROJECT EXPERIENCE

1) Project Title Create Tool Application

Client: Johnson and Johnson

Project Description:

This project involved integrating the existing Create Tool Application Portal with Documentum, a content and document management tool, where content can be uploaded from the portal to documentum content server. This content goes through various lifecycle states and is eventually published, once it reaches the Approved state, to the portal.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

Involved as the technical lead and senior developer for the project. Also was responsible for setting up the Docbase for this application.

Environment: J2EE Application based on MVC architecture hosted on ATG Dynamo Application Server6.4 employing the use of JSP, XML, Java Servlets. This project involved the use of Documentum Content Server.

2) Project Title Network Computing Services Portal (NCSP)

Client: Johnson and Johnson

Project Description:

This project involved integrating the existing NCS portal with Documentum, a content and document management tool, where content can be uploaded from the portal to documentum. This content may go through various and eventually be published to the NCS portal using a Documentum based Web application, known as Web Publisher. Also was involved in adding enhancements for sending mail to content owners if a content gets uploaded or is about to get expired.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

Involved as the senior developer in this project. Also was responsible for setting up the Docbase for this application.

Environment: J2EE Application based on MVC architecture hosted on WebLogic Application Server employing the use of JSP, XML, Java Servlets. This project involved the use of Documentum Content Server.

3) Project Title Deputy Sales Portal (DSP)

Client: Johnson and Johnson

Project Description:

This project involved migrating the current customizations in Documentum v 4.2 to Documentum v 5.2. These customizations, include, Web Publisher (WP) Customizations and Content Server customizations for assigning features to users belonging to standard WP groups, such as Content Author, Content Manager and Web Developer.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

Involved as a senior developer in this project.

Environment: Documentum Content Server 4.2 and 5.2, JSP, XML, Java Beans.

4) Project Title Terminal Accounting and Control System (TACS)

Clients Atlantic Container Line

Project Description

TACS is a real time system accessible over the internet allowing shipping organizations to control their terminal operations cost by optimizing the utilization of their resources. It divides the various terminal operations under various categories or activities for different operation types.

Environment: J2EE Application based on MVC architecture hosted on Oracle 9i Application Server employing the use of JSP, Java Servlets, Client Beans and EJB. XML is used for intermediate data exchange between the database and the application. The database is hosted on Oracle 9i.

5) Project Title Trade Repair Management System

Clients Global Container Leasing companies, Shipping depots, and repair facilities

Project Description

This product is a maintenance and repair solution for Asset or Container Owners and Container Repair Depots. Trade Repair is targetted mainly towards two kinds of customers, repair depots and container owners. With this, repair depots or container owners can track Estimates, Approvals, Work Orders, Repair Completions, Invoices, and report on all of them.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

· Developed various modules, such as the Invoice Verification and Acceptance module that allows the repair depots to create an invoice for the repair work done by them. This invoice can then be verified by the container owner or a surveyor for verification and can be accepted or rejected.

Environment: J2EE Application hosted on JRun Application Server 4.0 employing the use of JSP, Java Servlets, Client Beans and EJB. XML is used for intermediate data exchange between the database and the application. The database is hosted on Oracle 9i.

6) Project Title DWCD Map Information System

Client National Informatics Center (NIC), Delhi

Project Description

This Project involved developing a Web based GIS application for Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD), Ministry of Human Resource and Development (HRD), India. This application allows the user to generate thematic maps for viewing the status of various schemes in India that include distribution of Women Welfare Homes or Anganwadis in India at state or district level.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

· Developed the whole application by integrating geographical data with JSP and client-side technologies, such as Javascript. The application was hosted on JRun 3.0 and the database was hosted on Oracle 8i.

7) Project Title Transtrack- Vehicle Tracking System

Client Iserv Systems Ltd

Project Description

This Project involved the development of a web based Vehicle Tracking system named Transtrack. Transtrack is a real time vehicle tracking system that allows anytime anywhere tracking of vehicles through the Internet. This system is designed for organizations that have high value mobile assets and critical logistics systems and is designed to improve their productivity. Transtrack is based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) and a Geographical Information System (GIS) to track and present vehicle location information on the Web.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

· I was involved in developing the module for integrating the geographical map with Web server technologies, such as JSP, Servlet and client-side technologies, such as Javascript.

8) Project Title NHAI Road Management & Monitoring System

Client NHAI(National Highway Authority of India)

Project Description

This Project involved the development of a web based Road Monitoring and Maintenance system for Executive Decision Support. This system would allow you systematically document information which would eventually help in efficient administration of day-to-day activities of NHAI pertaining to construction and road management. This system also involved developing an innovative Project management solution developed using MS PROJECT that allows contractors, sub contractors and road consultants to maintain their Project management information.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

· Developed the Project Management module using MS PROJECT that allowed contractors and subcontractors to maintain their Project management information.

· Developed other modules, such as the Feature search module which would allow a feature like a Bridge or a Traffic Sign over a road stretch to be visually selected in the Map.

Environment: Application Front end with AutoDesk Mapguide, MS PROJECT, ColdFusion 5.0, ASP, Javascript and SQL Server was used as back end.

9) Project Title E-Cataloging

Client Eicher ( Automotive Manufacturer), New Delhi, India

Project Description

This project involved the Electronic Cataloging of Spare Parts of Tractor Models of a Leading Automotive ManufacturerofIndia. The client supplies Parts Catalogues ofAutomotive Models to it's Dealers in a Paper Catalogue format thatnot beingcomprehensive makes the tasks of identifying a certain part difficult leading to all sorts of problems while ordering for a certain part that has undergone some change.

Responsibilities and Features: Role

· Working as a Team Member responsible for development of the Display Tool that would let the Part -Catalogues to be displayed to the Dealers of the Client using the E-Cataloging System.

Environment: Front end with JAVA (SWINGS) and ORACLE 8i was used as back end.
