MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent *and* two (2) years of work related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to meet and communicate effectively with the public. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with others.
- Previous CPTC or TCSG work experience
- Previous experiences with facility rentals, proctoring computer-based testing
SALARY:
$12/hour
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, this part-time position provides divisional assistance including but not limited to assisting with facility rentals, testing, prison testing, customer service, data entry and other testing as needed. A flexible schedule that may work a variety of hours during mornings, afternoons and evenings up to 19 hours per week is required. Primarily the successful applicant will workMonday thru Thursday but occasionally Friday thru Sunday as needed at the CPTC Waycross Campus and other locations as needed, including but not limited to regional prisons to administer GED testing.
Other duties included, but not limited to the following:
- Provide customer service, receiving phone calls, responding to voicemails, responding to emails, taking course registrations, processing payments, data entry, classroom setup and cleanup, instructor and student materials and supplies.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic that includes flexibility to appropriately adjust schedule to work facility rentals after hours, including weekends.
- Demonstrate high quality internal and external customer service, teamwork & communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills, including but not limited to computers, multimedia, software, hardware, networking, printing, video, sound, internet and data projection amongst others.
- Demonstrate physical ability to safely setup, breakdown and cleanup facility rentals. Including but not limited to bending over, reaching and lifting overhead, crawling, climbing, lifting and carrying at least 40lbs, moving and setting up at least 500 chairs and 80 tables, moving and setting up audiovisual equipment and other equipment as required for facility rental operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Physically and technically able to safely setup, breakdown and cleanup facility rentals
- Skill in the operation of computers and job related software programs
- Decision making and problem solving skills
