POSITION: Food Service Employees, Part Time

LOCATION: Clarkesville Campus

Hours: Monday -Thursday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (hours may vary slightly depending on need) (29 hours)

Description:

Assist in the preparation and serving of a variety of food items to students, staff and visitors in a college dining hall facility. Assist in preparing and serving meals for banquets, civic group meetings, receptions etc.Operate and maintain food service equipment. Maintain a safe clean and sanitary work environment. May perform cashier duties. Positon requires a flexible schedule. Must be able to lift, push, and carry heavy items weighing up to 50Lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in preparation, cooking, and serving in a food service operation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServSafe Certification
  • Food Service in an academic setting
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations

Salary/Benefits:$10.50 per hour/not to exceed 29 hours a week/No benefits
