Transactional banking is one of the most exciting areas to be in banking today. Our Global Transaction Services (GTS) team will offer you a dynamic fast paced environment to develop your corporate knowledge. Get involved with the innovative, cutting edge solutions we offer our corporate & institutional clients, both nationally and globally!

Students from all disciplines would be suitable, but should have a strong interest in innovation and solution development/design and a commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes.

As an Intern within Global Transaction Services, you may have the opportunity to actively participate in roles like product & pricing management, project management, innovation & implementation, bid management, business development and sales & client service.

As a Pricing Analyst you will:

·  Provide support to the product pricing team with varied projects and approval activities

·  Will gain an understanding of product pricing and the approval process

·  Must have strong Excel skills

·  Commerce, Business and Finance students suitable

You may work on projects such as:

·  Servicing and managing the day-to-day needs of our multinational clients

·  Supporting pricing approval activity

·  Reviewing and helping to embed risk and compliance controls for GTS

·  Preparing data analyses to assist business performance

·  Engaging across Westpac Institutional Bank and the broader Westpac Group in assisting on key group-wide projects

Key Skills required would include problem solving, time management, quality communication (written and verbal), and ability to work to and meet time frames. Also advanced excel and word capability and the ability to use your initiative. Any other applications required, training would be provided.

Ideal Degree/Discipline

Commerce/Business/Finance degrees would be suitable.

Eligibility Requirements

·  Final or second-last year of undergraduate or postgraduate studies

·  Australian citizens

·  Criminal history clearance (to be conducted by Westpac)
