SALARY RANGE: Social Worker III - Grade 69/ $ 37,893 - $ 56,840

Social Worker II - Grade 67/ $ 35,034 - $ 52,551

Social Worker I/Trainee - Grade 63/ $ 29,947 - $ 44,922

(Plese note that all new hires will come in at the hiring rate which is the low end of the pay scale.)

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The person in this position will be responsible for children’s protective

services caseload. Duties may include, but are not limited to, investigation of referrals and coordinating services for families at risk.

Work is performed under the direction of the Supervisor and the Director in accordance with State and Federal regulations for the proper administration of the program. Work may include other related duties

and activities as deemed appropriate and assigned by the Supervisor and/or Director.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Degrees must be from appropriately accredited

institutions.

SOCIAL WORKER TRAINEE – GRADE 63

4-year college or university degree

SOCIAL WORKER I – GRADE 63

4-year degree in a human services field

4-year college or university degree plus one year of directly related experience

SOCIAL WORKER II – GRADE 67

BSW

4-year degree in a human services field plus one year directly related experience.

4-year college or university degree plus two years of directly related experience.

SOCIAL WORKER III – GRADE 69

MSW

BSW-Child Welfare Collaborative

BSW plus one year of directly related experience

4-year degree in a human services field plus two years directly related experience

4-year college or university degree plus three years of directly related experience
