X League Handicaps

X League Handicaps will be based on a3 game rolling league score average.

If a player has not reached3 X-league games, the number of rounds will divide their total cumulative score compared to par. The result of the calculation will give an average to provide the X-League handicap. For example, a player has only played 3 X-League games, then their total score to par (total score) will be divided by 3.

For new players to X-Golf, a starting X League handicap will be determined by halving an existing Dotgolf handicap.

For players who do not have a Dotgolf handicap, they are required to play 18 holes anytime before their first league match. The total score will be divided by 2 to obtain the initial X-Golf league handicap.

Maximum Handicap is 25

Lowest handicap is -4

If the handicap difference is 4. Each player will decide on 2 handicap holes each.

Tournament rules:

  1. Due to mis-hits there are a selection of shots which aren’t recorded on the simulator. When this happens this will not incur a penalty to the player and is recorded as “rub of the green”.
  2. If this occurs during the grand finale it is the X-Golf tournament director’s decision if a 1 shot penalty is incurred, where it is seen that this shot will play a major influence in the outcome of the game i.e a full shot is struck and shanks to the right hand side.
  3. On some shots the simulator will pick up a practice swing and record a shot. When this happens please push the mulligan button.
  4. Matches will be played over 9 holes with courses being announced 1 week prior to the league games.
  5. If a team fails to attend a fixture then their opposition will be given a win with a score of 7 points.
  6. If both teams fail to attend then both teams will be given a loss and a 0 score.
  7. In the event that teams are level for the 4thand final position at the end of the league round robin series, then the final qualifying spot will be decided by the last rounds combined to par total.
  8. If both teams are still level after the combined to par total, then the standings will be decided by their head-to-head record. In the event that there is still a tie, then there will be a 3 man team shoot-out to decide the winner.
  9. In the event of a rules decision being required, the Manager of X-Golf Avonhead will adjudicate and their decision shall be final.
  10. Cumulative count back definition: In a nut shell it's the combined nett score of each team. The team with the lower score wins. If the cumulative nett scores are equal, then each team sends in a representative for a sudden death play-off with no handicap.

League Schedule: The fixtures for your league will be provided no less than one week before your first match and will be played on the day and time of league that you have subscribed to. If you are in a Monday League, no matches will be played on Public Holidays.

Scores for each match will be collected by the Manager and submitted to the tournament secretary who will update the leaderboard.
