Sustaining a healthy park and recreation system to make Portland a great place to live, work and play.
· Tutoring Center Lead Staff: Recruit and support students of varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in our after school tutoring center. Communicate with teachers and other support staff to assist students directly with assignments and supporting healthy study habits. Provide a safe, welcoming environment for all students. Communicate with Site Manager and parents. Be flexible and adaptable to all situations. Assist Site Manager with other duties as needed.

· Table Tennis Instructor: Supervise and instruct students of varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Skill instruction support will be provided. Provide a safe, welcoming environment for all students. Communicate with Site Manager and parents. Be flexible and adaptable to all situations. Assist Site Manager with other duties as needed.
· Requirements: Experience working with children ages 13-19 years old from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication skills. Positive energy and attitude. Excellent customer service skills. First Aid/CPR a plus, but not required.
· Experience: Experience working with children ages 13-19 years old in a recreation or school setting. Qualified candidates will have experience related to the skill needed for specific courses (ie: Tennis instructors must have experience/knowledge of tennis).
Pay Range and Work Week: $9.25 to $13 (Depending on experience). Hours vary from 4-10 per week.
