Portersville Christian School

Athletic Program

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”

Colossians 3:23

Dear Prospective Families,

The Portersville Christian School Athletic Program is committed to developing Christ-like character among our student-athletes and encouraging them to develop their God-given athletic abilities to their maximum potential. This is accomplished through a program that emphasizes Christian character and conduct, achievement in academics and athletics, leadership skills, and respect for others. Most importantly, we strive to use athletics as a training ground to build strong disciples for Christ.

We offer inter-scholastic athletics at the Elementary, Middle School and High School levels. Portersville Christian participates in the South West Christian Athletic Association (SWCAC) and is a member of the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) at the junior varsity and varsity levels. Our Middle School athletic programs participate in the Greater Pittsburgh Christian Athletic League (GPCAL). We also provide an in-house league for our students in grades two through four.

In the Handbook you’ll find the necessary forms that are to be completed and submitted to be eligible to practice or compete in a game, Academic Policy, Disciplinary Policy, and the expectations of our athletes and parents involved in our athletic program.
