OTHER POOLING ADMINISTRATION ACTIVITIES

·  NOWG

-  Participated in regular monthly meetings during this reporting period on July 27 and August 31.

·  Pool Replenishment

-  INC issue/contribution

·  The PA initiated Issue 519 related to pool replenishment, an issue that is of concern to the NOWG and us. It was accepted at the June INC meeting but was not discussed until the August meeting. The issue remains active.

·  Status of Change Orders 41:

-  10,760 blocks in error.

-  Overall discrepancy percentage: 5.68%

-  First and Second notifications to service providers have been sent.

-  Six state commissions were sent emails regarding service providers that did not respond on 9/6.

·  PA Reorganization

-  Gary Zahn – Acting Regional Director PASC

-  Tara Farquhar – Acting Industry Interface Representative
(Tara will also temporarily continue to process applications for the states of AZ, CO, IA, ID, IN, MI, NE, NM, NV, OH, OR, UT)

-  Dara Sodano – Acting Senior Pooling Administrator
(Dara will now handle the states of FL, NY)

-  Florence Weber remains on staff and is working from a virtual office in Houston, TX.

·  Received Contract Extension

-  Three-month extension to September 14, 2006 expired.

-  One-month extension 4A was exercised by the FCC from September 15 through October 14, 2006.

-  One-month extension 4B is exercisable by the FCC for one more month.

·  Formal Complaint:

-  Received complaint from the service provider on August 15th regarding a block assignment that affected end users.

-  The PA responded to the service provider and FCC on August 29th indicating what had transpired as soon as the pooling administrator was alerted to the problem.

-  The PA deemed that no corrective action was required after determining that the pooling administrator had followed procedures.

[1] Minor adjustments have been made to assigned blocks data for the months of January, February and May. These corrections are being made to conform to current PAS totals.
