Place a call

  • Pick up the handset, or press theSpeaker key, or New Call softkey.
  • Dial number, optional press the Dialor Send softkey

Answer a call

Pick up the handset, or press the Speaker key or the Answersoftkey, or press the Line key next to the number you wish to answer.

End a call

Hang up orpressthe EndCallsoftkey

Placing a call on hold

  • During a call, press the Holdbutton or the Hold softkey:

the LED will blink red to indicate the call is on hold. To return to the call, press the Resumesoftkeyor the Hold button.

  • During a call, answering another call automatically puts the first call on Hold.

Transferring a call

  • During a call, press theTransferbutton or the Transfersoftkey (the active call is placed on hold).
  • Dial the party to whom you want to transfer the call, press the Sendsoftkey. After announcing the call, pressTransferagain to complete the transfer.

To cancel a transfer, press the Cancel softkey. The original call is resumed.

Blind Transfer

To transfer a call without speaking to the receiving party, press Transfer (button or softkey), dial the number and then pressthe Send softkey or just hang up.

Establish a three-way conference call

  1. Dial the first party.
  2. Press the More softkey, then the Confrncsoftkey to create a new call (the active call is placed on hold).
  3. Dial the second party.
  4. When the second party answers, press the More softkey then the Confrncsoftkey to join all parties.

To separate or split the conference call into two calls on hold, press the Splitsoftkey.

To create a conference call at any timebetween an active call and a call that is on hold (on the same line or another line on your phone), press the Joinsoftkey.

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Press the softkey below DND to enable or disable. The phone will not audibly ring when Do Not Disturb is turned on. Calls will still appear in the display and can be answered if desired.

Contact Directory, Recent Call list, Favorites

  • Press Home button,use navigation arrows to highlight the Directoriesicon in the display, then press the round selectbuttonin the middle of the navigation arrows.
  • Use the navigation arrows and select button to access theContact Directory, Recent Call List, or Favorites.

Press the left arrow or exit softkeyrepeatedly to exit

  • To save a phone number in the Recent call list to the Contact Directory. Highlight the call, press Infothen the Save softkey
  • To save a phone number in the Recent call list toFavorites (Speed Dial).Highlight the call, press Info then the Save softkey. If there are blank line keys on the phone. Numbers saved as Favorites will appear in the previously blank line keys for one touch dialing.

Changing ring type

To change the incoming ringtone for a number or the phone:

  1. Press the Home Button, select Settings BasicRing Type.
  2. Using the arrows toscroll, and highlight the desired number. Scroll to highlight the ring sound, press thePlay softkey to hear the selected ring type.
  3. Press the Select softkey to change to the desired ring type.
  4. Press the Back softkey or the left navigation arrow several times to exit.

Select Default, to changethe ring type for all lines on the phone. Highlight and individual line to change its ring type.
LED indicators

The LEDs next to each number that appears on a phone indicates the call status:

  • Green- Your call is in progress.
  • Flashing green- A call is incoming.
  • Blinking green- Your call is held by the other party.
  • Blinking red- You have placed the call on hold.

Power cycling or rebooting

Press Home key > Settings> Restart Phone > then Press the Yes softkey

Message Key Acts as a speed dial to voice mail system.

Mute Key

Mutes your handset or speaker, key glows red when mute is enabled. Press again to disable.
