In Brief
I began piano lessons at age seven, guitar lessons at age ten and settled on the Electric Bass at age fourteen.I studied Double Bass under George Woodall and Barry Johnson (New Zealand Symphony Orchestra) I formed my first band when I was twelve and started making ‘music for money’ by age fifteen.
Throughout the seventies I travelled and toured in England and the United Sates, as well as touring New Zealand extensively, performing live and in the studio.
I spent most of the ‘80s based in New Zealand, writing, playing in house bands and honing my skills as a recording engineer and producer.
During the nineties I enjoyed a long association with The Rodger Fox Band and continued to record and enjoy working with ‘stars’ touring New Zealand.
Currently I am a director in SDL Music Limited
