Cars Stopped in Special Stage – Competitors are advised that it is a requirement of the current motorsport manual, to place a “warning triangle” to warn oncoming cars of your vehicle location, if you are stopped in a special stage.

In placing this triangle, competitors should take care when proceeding towards oncoming rally cars to consider their own safety and ensure you have an escape route should an oncoming car surprise you.

Scrutineering – Performance Diesels, 1 Rerewai Place, Mt Maunganui. This venue is an operating truck workshop. Crews are requested to ensure they do not hinder the day to day operation of the business.

A separate gravel yard at the back of the building is available to unload and load cars. Please ensure your trailer does not hinder the other users of the yard.

Ceremonial Start, The Strand – Rallysafe staff will be taking the opportunity to check each individual rally safe unit installation and operation. Crews are requested to remain with their car and leave it unlocked. If you have to leave your car for other promotional purposes you may lock it. For crews that have not installed and used a rally safe unit before, there is a requirement to have the unit connected directly to the battery, not through a battery master switch. For further information contact Buck 027 497 5675

SS 3/6 Te Akau – For those competitors who have not done reconnaissance an additional caution will be in place at 12.2 kms to advise crews of a big pot hole.

This message will also be repeated on the Noticeboard at the start of the stage.

Rally New Zealand two day entrants – as per the itinerary, cars will be placed in parc ferme (TC6B) at the end of day one. For NZRC Cat 5 competitors who choose to rejoin for Day Two, the parc ferme is optional. If the Cat 5 competitor chooses not to place their car in parc ferme, their rejoin point will be TC6D.

Issued by the Clerk of the Course.
