1-Hour Presentation
EVENT Description (1 hr. presentation within a 2.5 hour event)
The 1 Hour Presentation format provides an opportunity to introduce a topic or to present more detail on a specific aspect of a topic.
- Audience can be mixed or specific level of experience. You should specify audience level expectations.
- Presenter must be knowledgeable and should have first-hand experience with the subject matter.
- Can be presentation or case study format.
- You have one hour in a two hour event. This includes your time for questions. Use the whole hour.
- No fees will be paid to the presenter.

- The Project Management Institute Lakeshore Ontario Chapter (PMI-LOC) serves over 2,200 members in the Greater Toronto Area.
- PMI-LOC hosts a variety of events for which we welcome proposals from experienced speakers, general business, leadership, project management or technical and industry experts. The provided content will be reviewed in conjunction with other submissions and, if selected, will also be used for event promotion.
- The majority of PMI LOC in-person events are delivered in Mississauga and Oakville but can be delivered anywhere within chapter boundaries.

The agreement to post the presentation/webinar material on the PMI-LOC website, does not eliminate the presenter right to own the intellectual property of the material.
If accepted to present, you may include copyrighted materials as handouts provided that
a)Presenter obtains written permission from the copyright holder, and
b)Presenter pays any permission fees, if any.
As such, the presenter expressly agrees to obtain any such permission and pay any required fees prior to the use and distribution of those materials or information. It is essential that this policy be observed because of the legal implications for all concerned.
