(Please read each rule and check each box)

□ / 2.4 Parking. Only one vehicle is permitted to be parked at Sunset Marina designated parking lots at any given time per Slip/Unit.
□ / 2.5 No Dumping. No dumping of any material, whether liquid or solid, into storm drains or on the ground. Put trash into provided trash receptacles and recycling into the appropriate provided recycling receptacles.
□ / 2.6 Smoking Restrictions. No smoking is permitted on the grounds or on the docks, fingers and piers of the Marina. Smoking is permitted in vessels and designated smoking areas.
□ / 2.7 Quiet Hours. Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM.
□ / 2.8 Alcohol. Consumption of alcohol within the Condominium and Marina is subject to all applicable laws. Please don’t drink and drive your boat. Liquor licensing regulations do not permit open containers to be taken from the Clubhouse onto the Condominium property or the Marina. Public drunkenness is not permitted. Owners are at all times responsible for their actions and those of their Tenants, family, and guests.
□ / 2.9 Pets. Pets must be on a leash, in a carrier, or confined to a vessel or vehicle at all times. Pet waste must be immediately cleaned up by the pet owner.
□ / 3.1 Waiver of Responsibility. All persons using or visiting the Marina or its facilities do so at their own risk. The Association, its Board of Directors, Manager, agents and employees will not be held liable or responsible in any manner for the safekeeping of any vessel in the Marina,or for any personal injuries suffered by any Marina User.
  • Wave action. Vessel owners and operators are solely responsible for properly and adequately securing and fending their vessels to minimize the risk of damage to their own vessel, other vessels, and Marina improvements. See Section 4.2 for minimum requirement (See image on following page)

□ / 3.10 Security.
  • Except for public and owner access to the Breakwater during posted hours, the Marina is a secured access facility. Owners and Tenants are required to take reasonable steps to ensure their means of access, whether by code, key card, or key, are not duplicated or shared with others.

  • Security Responsibilities: All marina users must remain vigilant to enhance Marina security by calling to the attention of the Dock Master or Manager any observed damage to vessels or Marina property, unauthorized persons within the Marina, any possible theft, circumstances of unsafe practices or unsafe situations. In all life threatening emergency situations immediately call 911 prior to notification of the Dock Master or Manager.

□ / 3.12 Fire Protection and Safety.
  • Fueling of vessels is not permitted in the marina.

  • The use of firearms, air guns, fireworks, flares and other such devices are prohibited anywhere within the Marina or on any portion of Sunset Marina Condominium.

  • Familiarize yourself with the location and operation of fire extinguishers and “spill kits”.

  • For your safety, have ready to implement a personal evacuation plan for your vessel.

  • Use only marine U/L grade/designated electrical products.

□ /
  • Do not run mooring lines, water hoses, electrical cords, or any other trip hazards across dock, finger pier or boardwalk, except as may be needed during an emergency.

  • To prevent backflow siphoning and/or flooding of your vessel, water hoses must never remain connected between the water faucet and the vessel, except while actively filling.

  • No swimming in the Marina.

□ / 3.14 Fish Cleaning. Fish cleaning is permitted only at the designated fish cleaning station.
□ / 4.2 Moorage of Vessels. Four or more lines are required to secure each vessel: bow and stern lines, and two spring lines.
