7.00-8.30 / Breakfast time - the children are encouraged to choose which cereals they would like for breakfast.
8.30-9.15 / Child led activities - the children participate in child led activities alongside independent snack time. They are then encouraged to tidy away resources within the continuous provision with support from practitioners.
9.15-9.30 / Circle time- the children are encouraged to join in singing songs and reading stories, before washing their hands for snack.
9.30–10.00 / Snack time – children are encouraged to choose their snack independently, and participate in hygiene routines.
10.00 – 10.30 / Focused activity -the children are encouraged to participate in an adult led focused activity, based on the planning for the current week.
10.30-11.45 / Small group time–children take part in small group / child led activities with their key workers – to work towards achieving their next steps. Teeth brushing is also carried out at this time.
11.45-12.00 / Tidy away time- the children are encouraged to tidy away by practitioners, follow hygiene procedures, and then lunch is served.
12.00- 1.00 / Lunchtime- the children are supported in eating their lunch, participate in hygiene routines and then are encouraged to take part in relaxing activities, for example snuggling time with practitioners reading a book.

1.15-1.45 / Focused activity -the children are encouraged to participate in an adult led focused activity, based on the planning for the current week.
1.45-2.30 / Small group time –children take part in small group / child led activities with their key workers – to work towards achieving their next steps. The children are encouraged to tidy away by practitioners, follow hygiene procedures, and then snack is served.
2.30-3.00 / Snack time – children are encouraged to choose their snack independently, and participate in hygiene routines.
3.00-3.50 / Child led activities - the children participate in child led activities alongside independent snack time. They are then encouraged to tidy away resources within the continuous provision with support from practitioners.
3.50-4.00 / Tidy away time- the children are encouraged to tidy away by practitioners, follow hygiene procedures, and then tea is served.
4.00-4.30 / Tea time - the children are supported in eating their tea, participate in hygiene routines and then are encouraged to take part in relaxing activities, for example snuggling time with practitioners reading a book.

Please note that the routine is flexible; and either times or activities may change due to reflecting the children’s needs / interests, or to accommodate different events that may occur within the setting i.e. festivals / celebrations.
