Date of Crime: between midnight and 2 am

Location of Crime:MCVTS AC 119

First Arriving Officers: Anton van Leeuwenhoek, Robert Hooke

Supervising Officer: Zacharias Jannsen

Detective: Galileo Galilei

Forensic Technicians: Ernst Ruska, Heinrich Rohrer

Forensic Specialist: ____(YOU!)______

Patrol officers Leeuwenhoek and Hooke responded to the sound of breaking glass inside the C hallway of MCVTS at approximately 2:15 am. Upon entry into room AC 119, they observed the victim (name withheld until notification of kin) slumped in the back left corner. The officers called emergency services at 2:18 am. The victim was just regaining consciousness and explained that he was working on the top-secret cultivation of bacteria for possible use as biological warfare. The victim recalled having a wet, cold cloth placed over his mouth from behind and being forced to breathe chloroform, a sweet-smelling chemical that causes unconsciousness in humans and animals. The victim was unable to recall what time this occurred, but noted that several bacterial colonies were missing from his incubator.

Detective Galileo Galilei arrived on the scene at 2:40 am. Forensic technicians Ruska and Rohrer arrived on the scene at 3:10 am. They collected samples from the floor within a radius of 1 foot of the fallen scientist. Samples were also taken from a small red smear under a broken window leading to the courtyard.

The samples were submitted to the Forensic Specialist for examination at 5:07 am. The analysis report is attached to this document.

The victim has no medical issues from the attack, but continues to express great concern over the missing, and potentially dangerous, bacterial colonies.
