Dear Sir/Madam,

Orka Energy Limited / Online Direct are solely authorised to deal direct with suppliers / distributors / meter operators in connection with our utility services (Gas/Electricity/Water). This includes:

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act (1998) and GDPR (2016), this LOA permits and allows access, to:

• Request and receive current and historical account information including, but not limited to: - Consumption history, supply numbers, pricing details, and contract end dates.
• Issue termination notice with regard to existing supply contracts, at their end, on my behalf.
• Obtain information from third party industry databases, for example metering details.
• To contact my current supplier to resolve any objections or rejections regarding my transfer.
• Request and negotiate prices on my behalf, understandingthey may use Online Direct where needed, to process my contracts, or request account information under the Data Protection Act.
• The number of sites this LOA applies to is listed below.

Allows access to all of the details in Level 1, as well as the following:

• Request and receive copies of energy bills, payment and debt information.
• Authorise any adjustments, payment plans, refunds, billing or payment method changes.
• Raise, escalate, and resolve any supplier complaints on our behalf, including Ombudsman Services.
• Agree supply contracts and/or smart meter installations and replacements on my behalf.
• Receive copies of HH smart meter data and readings, from suppliers and meter operators.

This Letter of Authority shall remain valid for the period of 12 months from the date of signature, or if I have a fixed term contract, it will be valid for the duration of the fixed term period unless you / I advise otherwise.

For the avoidance of doubt, this agreement does not authorise Orka Energy, or any of its partners, to agree supply contracts on our behalf, without our direct consent, whether verbal or in writing.

Orka Energy Limited undertakes that it shall use the customer data solely for the purposes of delivering the services specified in this document and may share that data with relevant third parties in order to do so.
