While this is a voluntary post, we have a duty of care to all the young people that we work with to ensure that applicants are suitable to work with children. This means that we will require a protection of vulnerable groups check. Please note that the nature of mentoring and the mentoring relationship means that the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 does not apply. This means that you will have to declare all convictions. To enable us to provide you with the right advice, we ask that you state any convictions that you have in this form. This will include minor traffic offences.
