Please let your parents know that they will most likely get wet when doing the middle pool. The pool split will be the same as last year on Friday and Saturday.

Some of the starting times have been adjusted slightly to allow sufficient time in between sessions as required by Nassau County. Friday night there is no change. Saturday and Sunday morning the first warm up will start at 6:20 instead of 6:30. They will do sprints at the end of their warm up. The second warm up will start at 7am and they will do sprints at the end of their warm up. This will ease some of the over crowding in the sprint lanes and the pool deck. The meet will start at 7:50. The 10 and under warm up will begin at 12:50 on Saturday and we will try to start at 1:50. On Sunday, warm up will start at 12:35 and we will try to start at 1:35. Night finals will start a little later this year because of the mandated break between sessions.
Friday night and Saturday and Sunday morning all events will be pre seeded. For 10 & unders the first 4 events will be pre seeded on Saturday and the first three events will be pre seeded on Sunday. Scratch sheets will be due 15 minutes after the start of the first warm up so if you are in the second warm up you still have to get to the pool early to do your scratches.
Deck Seating- As per the Aquatic Center, there areNOdeck chairs allowed on the pool deck. There are more bleachers than last year and they are supposed to hold around 600 swimmers. There will be room on the deck forMATS, Blanketsor anything else the kids want to sit on. On Friday all teams will be allowed on deck. If you have anyone not swimming pleasehave them go up in the stands after warm up. All seating areas are first come first serve. On Saturday and Sunday morning we will have three teams sitting upstairs in the balcony even if they have seats on deck Friday. There are 900 swimmers entered both mornings (before scratches) and we are supposed to limit the pool deck to 700 swimmers. This is one of the reasons I havechanged the warm up schedule for sprints. The three teams total about 120 swimmers so if you have anyone else that wants to sit upstairs by the diving well they are more than welcome. All we ask is that they behave, are very careful walking through the building and always have something on their feet when they walk through the building. The three teams sitting upstairs areRidgewood, Hunterdonand Bedford. Please remember this isonly for the Saturday and Sunday morning sessions. Swimmers on the pool deck are not allowed to sit anywhere near or around the diVing boards and platforms. They also have to keep all emergency exits clear. Please cooperate...
Fine designs will be at the meet Saturday and Sunday upstairs selling meet T-Shirts and Sweatshirts and EP and Beyond will be at the meet taking pictures as ordered. Please let your swimmers know.
