About Our Speaker

Marty Sloop, CPC, PCS, CCP

Marty Sloop's work experience boasts of 28 years as an office manager for a primary care physician. She has also managed a three-physician practice.

Marty assists physicians and staff with coding issues, billing issues and Medicare regulations. She provides educational sessions to physicians on documentation for evaluation and management services.

Marty does chart reviews for numerous groups and meets with the physicians regarding the results. She also does staff education on the proper use and importance of modifiers.

A medical consultant for more than 30 years, a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), a Physician Coding Specialist (PCS) and a Certified Coding Professional (CCP), Marty has performed CPT coding seminars throughout the United States.

In 1990 she was selected as one of four consultants in the nation rated "exceptional" as a medical consultant resource by Medical Office Management Newsletter.

Join your colleagues at this all day seminar to learn the CPT coding changes for 2017.The AAPC workshop will cover the new CPT codes for 2017 as well as review of any published instructions on how to utilize the new codes and the rationale for the changes, if known. We will also go over any new Medicare guidelines and updates that have been published for 2017 as well as any Medicare guidelines regarding the use of the new 2017 CPT codes.
