NECC is leading a new project to showcase the best of North East Innovation and show how it can be better fostered to enhance the region’s reputation as a great place to do business.
NECC recognises that building on what the region is already doing and shining a spotlight on the best of North East innovation is vital to drive the economic growth of our area.

The project, spearheaded by Teesside University, focuses on four different areas of innovation, each led by an NECC partner; technology (BT), service (Virgin Money), process (Bond Dickinson) and product (Gateshead College).

We want our members to get involved. We will be looking for 50 case studies of North East innovation to highlight our region’s successes in a tangible form.
