Midleton Hockey Club fees have remained low for the last 14 years. Due to huge growth and success of the club, fees have to be increased in order to develop and improve the increased number of teams that we have.

*NOTE

Munster affiliation fee of €5 applies to any U15 child playing hockey in a club. The Munster Branch has imposed a

fee of €5 per child U15. This will be used by the Branch to invest in youth structures.

This cost will be added to your total fees. if you are U15 please add €5 to the basic rates shown above.

Example:

Family of 2 adults, 1 child 2nd level student (17yrs old) and 1 U-13 child

cost will be €320 club fee and €5 affiliation fee – total €325

All fees MUST be paid by the first Fri/Sat session in October

Parent involvement is very welcome. With ever increasing members, parents who offer assistance in some way is of enormous benefit to the smooth running of the club. Please consider our request and tick here if you are interested in: assisting at training, assisting at matches or becoming qualified as an assistant coach.

A reduction is offeredon fees for parents who commit to assisting with coaching during the season.

Mouth Guards and Shin Guards

Hockey is considered a high contact sport, it is imperative that all players wear their mouth guards and shin guards for all training sessions and matches. Players will not be allowed on the pitch without a mouth guard.

Communications, replying to Texts & Emails

Information will be sent mainly via text, email or smart phone app. A message will be sent to all players informing them of the venue, time, and details for a match/blitz or a change to a training session. If a reply is required either the player, or a parent must reply to these texts as soon as possible. This allows Coaches to manage matches and teams more efficiently. Members and Parents must agree that when giving phone or email details they agree that they may receive communications from the Club. Fixture Lists for Senior teams and other Club details

A fixtures list will be published for senior teams at the start of each season. This fixtures list will be available on the club website and as much notice as possible will be given of changes. Invitations to Junior blitzes are dependent on numbers and Parent involvement and notice will be given well in advance of Blitz participation. The Club will provide a sheet of fixtures on request.
