Players shoot drop targets and spinners to advance the ball down field. Once they have accumulated enough yardage, they may shoot for a touchdown or field goal by shooting a ball between the opponent's flippers. Most players new to the game simply slam the ball back at the opponent (resulting in a lot of missed field goals) not realizing the goal is to control the ball, make yardage, and then go for the drain shot for the touchdown. After a made touchdown, players may go for an extra point.
