MIKE’S CRITTERS!

Come out and enjoy some hands on educational fun done safely with live critters such as amphibians, arachnids, birds, insects, mammals, reptiles and other critters. We are excited to offer 4 sessions with themes. Cute and Cuddly;Creepy Crawlers; Classifications; and Rainforest. This program is sure to be full of interesting and fun interaction with Mikes Critters.

SCEINCE AL!VE

Science AL!VE is a student-run science education program based at Simon Fraser University. In partnership with Community Schools, Science AL!VE is proud to present our fun-filled hands-on science after-school programs for students from kindergarten to grade 5 in Central Community School! Our after-school programs will introduce students to the amazing world of science, engineering, and technology through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations led by our energetic, creative and expertly trained staff.

WACKY WEAVING Introduction to Fibre Arts GR 1-5

Join us and have fun learning about fibers and their uses while creating beautiful handmade crafts. Each session will be an opportunity to learn about, and explore a variety of fiber art techniques including spinning, inkle weaving, felting, tapestry, and more. All equipment and materials are supplied.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Sign up today for our *So You Think You Can Dance* a great combination of Dance and Gymnastics!!! Let`s have some fun learning some of the latest dance moves in hip-hop and jazz and learn to develop your own unique style. Put your moves together in a short routine you can perform at home or with friends to your favorite tunes. In the second half of the class we`ll learn some easy gymnastics on our tumbling mats. This class will have levels so you can progress over the course of the year to achieve higher levels of dance and Gymnastics.Let`s get dancing!!

BRICKS4KIDZ- AMUSEMENT PARK ADVENTURES

Get your ticket to ride at Bricks 4 Kidz very own Amusement Park! Campers will build a new ride each day, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. Then they will take what they have learned to design their own thrills and challenges. Motorized models maximize the action and the fun. Each camp day includes carnival-themed games, group challenges, model-building and more

MULTI-SPORT PLAY*please note there are no programs Feb. 21th

This is a play-based program designed to develop motor and athletic skills in a positive,

Supportive, non-competitive environment. Children will develop fundamental movement skillsand fundamental sport skills. They will be able to take part in a wider range of formal andinformal sport activities such as soccer, basketball, dodge ball, floor hockey, octopus, go-go-stopand many more. The instructor is HIGH FIVE® trained which ensures activities within theprogram are appropriate and aware of healthy child development principles and supportsphysical literacy development practices. Most importantly this is a FUN way to get active.

Our After School Programs Registration is online and will accept payment using Visa; MasterCard or Interac/Debit from most major banks.

You can get instant confirmation of your spots in the programs you choose. You will require an email address in order to get your confirmation # and print out a receipt for your payment.

If you do not wish to register online there is still an option to register by filling out the paper registration forms. Please fill out the paper registration attached at the end of this brochure and return completed forms and payment by cash or cheque made payable to Pitt River Middle School. Please put the registration forms and payment in a sealed enveloped marked Atten: After School Programs. Drop the envelopes off at the office. Please include email address to receive confirmation.
