Practitioner Of The Year – 2016

Qualification Criteria

This award is presented to an individual. To be eligible for this award, the nominee must:

1.  Be currently employed full-time in an IT practitioner organization (i.e. not employed as a Consultant or working for an IT services a Vendor)

2.  Have worked in IT since at least June 1, 2016

3.  Have shown significant commitment to IT best practices (for example, ITSM, COBIT, CMMI, Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, DevOps, etc.)

4.  Have shown commitment to sharing knowledge about IT best practices both within and outside their employer organization

The Submission Process

The attached “Request For Information” form should be completed and sent via email to no later than end of business on December 9, 2016.

The Evaluation & Selection Process

The Judging Committee will evaluate all submissions by December 16, 2016 and a short-list of potential winners will be contacted for further information, clarification and phone interview between December 19 and December 30, 2016.

The top three short-listed nominees will be contacted the first week in January, 2017 and invited to attend the 21st International ITSM Conference in Las Vegas on February 19-22, 2017 to receive either a Bronze, Silver or Gold award.

Announcement of The Winners

Winners of the Bronze, Silver & Gold awards for “Practitioner Of The Year – 2016” will be announced and presented with their awards at the Conference at the Bellagio, Las Vegas in February. Attendance at the Conference is not a pre-requisite for winning an award, and winners do not have to be present at the award presentation.
