Amberwood HOA Board Meeting Minutes October 5, 2016
In attendance: Kevin Gardiner, Tommy Vance, Carrol Long, Anne Gardiner, Laurie Larson, Rick Martin
Minutes from last meeting from Anne:
Follow-up on landscaper issues. He has agreed to trim the holly bushes at front entrance.
Pool pump to continue running until temperature is consistently below 70 degrees to avoid algae.
Budget update from Carrol: Current checking account balance is $21,000.000.
Board approved a thorough cleaning of clubhouse interior twice per year. Laurie Larson will handle this.
The Board will send out an email to inquire how to approach repainting the neighborhood mailboxes, with choice of DIY or we provide paint.****
Plan to clean clubhouse gutters before December, once needles have fallen.
October 29th was selected for a Fall Community Clean-up Day. Projects to be addressed:
Paint pool bathrooms and replace sink lights, plumbing fixtures, seals between bldg. and cement Trim around pillars and pool fence. Fill area outside pool gate with gravel. Mulch around playground . Repair deadbolt at clubhouse and paint deck post. Replace lights at front entrance. Plant pansies and spread pine straw at front entrance.
Large Projects: Plan to present at January meeting:
Pool repair: Bids to refinish the pool . Patrick to get bids.
Sidewalk/ curb repair: County versus HOA, petition DOA (email). Inquire about process. Concerns around utilities. Kevin to research this.
Remodel clubhouse interior: Anne to research and put together plan/cost estimate.
Concerns about clogged drainpipe alongside pool. Inquire if HOA or County is responsible.
