PIAG Workshops Focus on Branding and ROI

Atlanta, GA, July 21, 2011 – The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) announces two educational classes being offered in August and September to focus on brand integrity and the ROI of direct mail. The classes were created to assist marketers, media specifers and the print industry in understanding how print can enhance brand integrity and how direct mail results can be measured with confidence.

“With countless choices by which to communicate, it is important to make intelligent choices,” said Cindy Seel, PIAG Executive Vice President. “Print is an effective way to convey your brand, cut through the noise and get results and these classes are designed to show you how.” Both workshops are open to all in the print, creative and marketing community.

Respect Your Brand: Print’s Role in Brand Integrity: will take place on Wednesday, August 24 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m at the Portfolio Center on Bennett Street in Atlanta. The class, which is $20 for members, marketers, and media buyers, will reveal best branding practices (along with a few don’ts) from one of Atlanta’s top branding authorities, Kathleen Turaski of Resonance. The second class, “ROI of Direct Mail: Measure Results with Confidence,” will take place on Thursday, September 29 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon at PIAG offices in Smyrna. Dr. John Leininger, Professor of Graphic Communications at Clemson University demonstrates how to tract the ROI of direct mail efforts through statistically sound methods that demonstrate accountability, amplify your ad spend , and measure impact to an overall marketing campaign.
