B.EYE/FOOT COORDINATIOND.RULES AND SPORTSMANSHIP

SUPPLIES NEEEDED

SHORTS, SHIRT, WHITE SOCKS, SNEAKERS, SWEAT SUIT, TOWEL, SOAP, (LOCK AND LOCKER WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL.)

EXPECTATIONS:

STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO;

  1. BE ON TIME TO LOCKER ROOM
  2. BE ON TIME FOR CLASS ATTENDANCE
  3. GIVE THEIR BEST EFFORT INALL ACTIVITIES
  4. FOLLOW ALL CLASS AND GAME RULES
  5. SHOWER AFTER CLASS

I. COURSE OBJECTIVES/ PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

UPON THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE, STDUENTS WILL BE ABLE TO

  1. ANALYZE AND ENGAGE IN PHYSICAL ACTIVIITES THAT ARE DEVELOPMENTALLY/.INDIVIDUALLY APPROPRIATE AND SUPPORT ACHIEVEMENT OF PERSONAL FITNESS AND ACTIVITY GOALS
  2. ANALYZE THE AFFECTS OF REGUALR PARTICIPATION IN MODERATE TO VIGOROUS PHYUSICAL ACTIVITIES IN RELATION TO ADOLESCENT HEALTH IMPROVEMENT.
  3. ANALYZE FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE RESPONSES OF BODY SYSTEMS DURING MODERATE TO VIGOROUS PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
  4. ANALYZE FACTORS THAT AFFECT PHYSICAL ACTIVITY RELEVANT TO ADOLSCENCE
  5. ANALYZE FACTORS THAT IMPACT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN REGULAR PARTICIPATION IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND MOTOR SKILL IMPROVEMENT.
  6. ANALYZE THE EFFECTS OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE INTERATIONS OF ADOLESCENT GROUP MEMBERS IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

  4. IDENTIFY AND DESCRIBE THE PRINCIPLES OF TRAINING USING APPROPRIATE VOCABULARY
  5. DESCRIBE AND APPLY GAME STRATEGIES TO COMPLEX GAMES AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

DRESS AND PARTICIPATION = 50% 1ST = -5 POINTS 4TH = -10 PTS.

SKILL TEST/SPORTSMANSHIP =25% 2ND = -7 POINTS 5TH = -20 PTS.

WRITTEN TEST/QUIZ = 25% 3RD = -8 POINTS

CLASS PROCEDURE

  • ENTER LOCKER ROOM QUIETLY THROUGH HALLWAY DOOR
  • BOOKS GO UNDERNEATH THE BENCH
  • DRESS FOR CLASS QUICKLY. You have only four minutes
  • LOCK UP ALL CLOTHES AND VALUABLES.
  • GO OUT TO THE GYM AND GET INTO YOUR SQUAD
  • AFTER CLASS RETURN TO THE LOCKER ROON IN AN ORDERLY

MANNER.

  • SHOWER AND DRESS FOR YOUR NEXT CLASS.
  • WAIT INSIDE THE GYM FOR THE PASSING BELL.

CLASS RULES

FIRST TARDY = WARNING. SECOND TARDY = ONE DETENTION

DON’T SHARE LOCKERS. NO HORSE-PLAY IN THE LOCKER ROOM OR IN

THE SHOWERS. NO FOOD, GUM, OR DRINKS ALLOWED IN THE LOCKER

ROOM OR IN THE GYM. JEWELRY MUST BE REMOVED. OBEY ALL SAFETY

RULES AND RESPECT YOUR CLASSMATES.
