Senior Manager

Led account growth, client delivery, and solution development to help maintain competitive advantage for winning work and delivering profitability. Designed and launched new product solutions to help organizations identify, prioritize and implement bottom line cost savings and top line revenue collections, enhancing long-term growth.

Significantaccomplishments include:

  • Managed Federal Strategy initiative to increase internal awareness of Government Efficiency solutions and Deloitte’s external market value. Led a coordinated marketing strategy to build external brand in the Federal market space, and developed over 50 potential opportunities across segments. Developed a Predictive Cost Analytics solution to assess an Agency’s cost areas, identify cost savings, and prioritize cost saving initiatives as well as track cost savings to fund mission imperatives.
  • Partnered with CFO, finance, and operations executives to improve effectiveness of financial analysis & reporting for a $9 billion global mining company. Led KPI refresh and re-alignment, and developed functional requirements for KPI dashboard prototype. Identified and recommended approach to optimize information governance.
  • Managed 20 subject matter experts to conduct rapid cost recovery for a large Federal Government Agency. Conducted “rapid assessment,” reviewed data, interviewed agency officials, and analyzed potential cost saving opportunities. Facilitated a one day workshop with Senior Leadership Team (24 officers) to present initial cost recovery observations, help prioritize opportunities, and gain commitment to conduct due diligence for selected opportunities.
  • Developed and managed an integrated program to implement a US-funded Recovery project that received over $5billion for building projects and $300 million for fuel-efficient vehicles. As a result, the client team won “Commissioner’s Award for Excellence”.
  • Strategically improved operational efficiencies in supporting a receivership process for one of the largest US commercial banks. Stood up the Program Management Office (PMO) within 30 days of contract award and established standard processes for resource management, on-boarding, training, and project management in support of the bank closing projects worth over $23M overseeing 122 team members.
  • Served as lieutenant to the client Director responsible for stabilizing an ERP/SAP implementation for a $12 billion utilities company. Spent seven weeks in India managing critical testing phases as liaison between multiple partners. Managed a complex daily KPI reporting packaging and coordinated tasks across finance, HR, procurement, supply chain and change management functions. As a result, the implementation was stabilized in time for global roll-out.
  • Established enterprise-wide PMO for insurance client to support multi-year transformational margin improvement efforts. Developed tools, processed and methodologies to oversee all aspects of program management. Streamlined operations, generating a $2M cost savings annually.

  • Led project team in evaluating loan applications received by Federal agencies under various Federal credit programs. Worked closely with senior level executives of the agencies, Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Treasury in preparing Federal credit subsidy estimates and financial reports for Federal budget submissions.
  • Designed and developed a cash flow model to estimate/reestimate the annual cost to the Federal government for loan guarantees and to assess related budget implications by performing various analyses, such as loan level cash flow analysis, sensitivity analysis, stress-testing, prepayment analysis and default risk analysis. This assists the regulatory agencies to streamline the estimation of financing cost, subsidy cost, agency performance and related budget estimation for Federal government.
  • Managed $700 million loan portfolio by developing policies and procedures that provided oversight procedures for risk mitigation and problem loan management
