ARIZONA DESERT MIDWNTER CONVENTIONAL PISTOL 2700 CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES

FEBRUARY 15, 16, 17, 18, 2017

LOCATION: Phoenix Rod & Gun Club Range – South end of 7th Avenue Onley Dr, Phoenix, Arizona

ELIGIBILITY: As approved by the National Rifle Association Rule 1.6 F, Effective July 2008

RULES: Current NRA rules will govern.

ENTRIES: First relay will be filled before establishing a second relay. Maximum 80 competitors.

ENTRIES CLOSE: Individual match entries must be received no later than Monday

preceding the opening day of the tournament. Team match entries close at 8:00 AM the day the team matches are to be fired.

CLASSIFICATIONS: NRA classifications system will be used. Categories will be established if

There are 5 competitors per category. If there are less then five entries after combining all categories of a class there will be no awards given out for that class.

AWARDS: NRA Award points will be issued in accordance with the Posted Award Schedule. Other Prizes Will be given for the combined score of the 900 Service Pistol and 2700 match.

Match No. 1 – 20 shots, slow fire, 50 yards

Match No. 2 – National Match Course

Match No. 3 – 20 shots, timed fire, 25 yards

Match No. 4 – 20 shots, rapid fire, 25 fire yards

Approximately 1 hour lunch break between Individual and Team Matches if there are two relays of Individual Matches

E I C Leg and Distinguished Revolver Match: Firing the National Match Course on Saturday or Sunday, to range capacity.

Pistol Requirements: See CMP Rules 6.3.1. Awards are provided by CMP for those qualifying, See rule 7.7.2

DISTINGUISHED REVOLVER MATCH. Per Rule 23.1

Individuals who are eligible for NRA Pistol Competition pursuant to Section 2 of the NRA Pistol Rules shall be eligible to compete in this program.
