Do Not Worry
Philippians 4:7-9(New International Version)
7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
How can we experience that peace that God is promising us. First, we need to detect what is the thing that is worrying our mind or troubling our hearts. When you realize it give it up to God and take the shield of faith by standing on the word it is not God’s will for us to worry about anything but to pray about everything as the word says in Philippians 4:6-7 “6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. God’s will for us is to have peace and that is what God want us to keep confessing and refused to worry. When the enemy is making your heart to be troubled, keep confessing what God’s will is for you (Peace) The bible says in John 14:27 (New International Version) “27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Even He does not give us fear either. If we are doing anything that is not right with God causing the enemy to bring those attacks , just renew your mind, repent and change do what is right, commit your ways and your will to God peace will come. Our heart and our mind is an important area in our live that we need to protect from the things of this life. That is why the bible says we must guide it with all diligent. Those two areas are where the enemy targets especially we that are children of God. You know you want to do more for God but one thing or the other keeps coming up to disturb or come across it that you won’t be able to do it. Whatever you have made up in your mind to do have the fear of God in your heart, commit it unto God’s hands and let God’s will be done. Whatever we want to do in thought and in deeds must be pleasing to God that way we can enjoy his peace that surpasses all understandings.
Prayer for Today
Heavenly father I thank you for your love for me today, I closed my heart and my mind from any corruptible seeds and open my heart to you Holy Spirit. Align my will, mind and emotion to fall in line with your will for me today and I thank you for your peace and love that surroundsme in Jesus name.
