  1. TITLE:Compliance Manager
  1. REPORTS TO:Assistant General Manager/Vice President/ General Manager and Partner
  1. SUMMARY:

Compliance Manager shall insure compliance by the company and its subtenants. The primary responsibility is administrative, reporting, record keeping, coordinating security compliance and badging matters, monitoring and reporting on Subtenants’ compliance with the Philadelphia 21st Century Minimum Wage and benefit Standard, Labor Harmony and the campaign contribution disclosures.

  1. JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Manage all ACDBE, Street Pricing, Badging, Labor Harmony, Displaced Worker Program and Campaign Contribution Tracking compliance for PHL
  • Assists in ensuring that laws, rules and regulations that may impact the operation are identified, understood, assessed and appropriately communicated
  • Evaluate internal business processes as they relate to compliance activities, analyze operating procedures for regulatory requirements, and recommend solutions
  • Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of various compliance program initiatives, especially with driving consistency in the way information is managed and communicated
  • Maintains professional and technical policies updates
  • Assists in development and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Keeps other departments abreast of requirements by researching regulatory information; writing and communicating guidelines
  • Oversee develop and manage a reporting system on all MarketPlace, PHL required contract compliance related matters
  • Manager lease required compliance paperwork MarketPlace PHL Merchants
  • Other functions as assigned by the Management
  1. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Three years experience in compliance field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Retail Operations or Food and Beverage industry preferred
  1. SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer related functions
  • Intimate knowledge of all compliance related rules and regulations
  • Sensitivity to potential liability issues (reword)
  1. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Work directly with management team and Airport Authority for all compliance related record keeping
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual status reports on all compliance related issues as required
  • Work with Leasing and Specialty Leasing on all compliance assistance programs
  • Manage the Badging Administrator with the processing, verification, approval records, files, and maintenance of the Airport Badge Program
  • Assistmerchants with securing and maintaining certification and other lease required or contract required compliance paperwork
  • Prepare and submit all required compliance reports to the PHL Airport Authority
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with merchants, the Airport Authority and other airport entities
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty Program
