PGCE/Schools Direct Bursary Information Sheet

Please find below the schedule of payments for the academic year 2016/17. Payments are scheduled to be received no later than the 5th working day in each eligible month. The eligible months are October to July inclusive. Students are advised that enrolment on the relevant date in column A below will result in a payment being made for that month.If you have questions about withdrawing and/or interrupting and the effect that this might have on future funding please discuss with your course administrator.Fiona Bailey PGCE Programme Leader and Zina Ioannou for Schools Direct.

If you have applied for other forms of financial support from the university (i.e., bridgingloans and Student Support Fund, etc) and have provided bank details different than those provided for the PGCE Training Bursary, you must inform the Student Financial Support Office. This is because our payment system will only hold one set of bank details at a time and as a result we will always use the latest set of bank details provided unless advised otherwise.

In order to receive payments you must be fully enrolled on MyUnihub on the dates set out below in column A. Column B shows the date by which payments should have been received into bank accounts. Some students will find that payments are received one day earlier than these due to variations in banking processes.

Students whose eligibility for the PGCE bursary is determined after the initial payment date will be paid upon receipt of their completed bursary application forms.
