Strong Plastics – Director of Product Design (2009 – Ongoing)

Worked with Bernard Strong to develop products brought in by various outside clients. Heavy emphasis on plastic parts and prototyping using many different processes. Took products from concept to production. Contact Bernard Strong. $65/hr.

3D-CAM – Consultant – Web Content Developer (2009 - Ongoing)

Played major role in getting 3D-CAM.com website launched. Produced content for website and developed website. Photographed products and manipulated images to produce photos for web pages. Wrote content based on thorough understanding of rapid-prototyping and manufacturing processes. Used Wordpress to create pages, add links, introduce photographs and develop menus. National Technical Systems – Mechanical Design Consultant (2005-Ongoing)

Designed sophisticated vibration and load test fixtures for national testing facility. Produced solid models of all test fixtures to analyze design. Products tested were primarily from transportation, military and aerospace industries. Instrumental in the architectural remodel of Scottsdale Hilton Resorts, Woodland Hills Hilton, San Bernardino Hilton, Torrance Hilton, San Diego Hilton, Fireside Inn, Spyglass Inn, and other commercial office and residential projects. Worked with designer and architects to produce construction documents for various interior design projects including floor plans/FF&E, reflected ceiling, elevations, architectural details, cabinet details, floor covering plans and details. Designed commercial/home injection-molded plastic Fundue fountain product. Took product from concept through production. Provided consulting, documentation and design support for various products. Most recently provided documentation for iQ200 urinalysis product. Previous projects included mechanical design and technical illustrations to fully document the "White IRIS" white blood cell analysis system. Sheet metal design and packaging of equipment for credit card activated hotel security systems. Developed architectural floor plans, wall and room sections electrical drawings and details required for the installation of the security systems.
