NB 1 - teams are expected to wear a coordinated uniform throughout the tournament.
NB 2 - The entry procedures, player code of conduct and rules are all on the PNZ website, please ensure you have read all documents prior to entering; be aware that the rules of the sport have been changed by FIPJP, so please ensure you are familiar with the 2017 edition.

Friday
- All Triples teams will play 4 Swiss ladder games timed at 1hr +1 end and one further end if the result is drawn at this stage, then ranked on number of wins and Buchholz numbers (See website for Buchholz explanation)
- If 25 or more teams are entered: The top 8 will play for the Trophy, the next 8 for Trophy Consolation, the remaining teams will play for Plate, Plate Consolation, Bowl and Bowl Consolation depending on the number of entries.
- If 24 or less teams are entered: The top 4 will play for the Trophy, the next 4 for the Trophy Consolation, the remaining teams will play for the Plate and Plate Consolation depending on the number of entries.
- Following the Swiss ladder games there will be a singleelimination semi and final in each section, with all games timed up to the final which will be untimed.
- PNZ reserves the right to change the format if the number of entries is less than 10.
- Preliminary rounds shooting competition 3.00pm – 6.00PM
- Board Forum at 5.00pm in the clubrooms
3. Tournament rules
- The tournament will be played to the current FIPJP Rules (1 January 17) and any interpretations specific to NZ as adopted by PNZ on the 1 January 2018. All participants should be familiar with these rules prior to entering.
- Entrants are required to participate in the entire tournament; i.e. a player/team cannot leave partway through without good cause.
- Immediately after each game a member from both teams are required to sign that the score is correct on the result sheet. No score will be entered until both teams are present.
- Catering
Tea, coffee and water will be available throughout the tournament. Lunch will be available to purchase – see Manawatu Information Sheet on website.
