CHARGE FOR CONTRACT PERIOD FOR EQUIPMENT AS LISTED

THIS CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRINTED BELOW:

  1. This contract is between AccuTech Weighing Services (Pty) Ltd., hereinafter referred to as the Company, and (XXXXXXX), hereinafter referred to as the Client.
  1. The contract price per visit is firm for a minimum period of 12 (twelve) months from the contract validity date specified below. After the minimum period has expired, the Company will review the contract and advise the client of any price adjustment that may be necessary. Should the renewal not be acceptable or required, the Client undertakes to notify the Company in writing within 30 (thirty) days of the cancellation of the contract.
  1. The Company undertakes to visit your works once every 3 (three months) and at that time thoroughly examine the machine(s), test and re-calibrate.
  1. The Company’s service engineer will instruct, during the visit, your personnel in the daily adjustments that may be necessary to maintain an efficient accurate machine.
  1. The Company’s service engineer will fit any parts found to be in need of replacement either as a result of damage or wear. The invoice will be submitted to the Client for the parts fitted on normal monthly account.
  1. The contract is made on the basis of the Company’s engineer being able to carry out the service during normal working hours, any special arrangement may be subject to an extra charge.
  1. The Client undertakes to provide any rough labour assistance which the Company’s engineer may require carrying out the service, free of charge.
  1. The Client undertakes to have dead weights available, up to the full capacity of the machine, in the case of a hopper scale.
  1. When the company’s service engineer is called to a machine in an emergency during normal working hours and his program permits, he will, subject to approval of the Client, carry out the full duties of a normal service visit on all machines under contract in the factory. The service will then be charged for in the usual manner and will replace the next routine service visit. The additional hours and any additional traveling expenses will be charged over and above the servicing contract rate. If the Client does not wish the machine(s) under contract to be serviced at the time, or if the service engineer does not have sufficient time to carry out a complete service on the machine(s), or if the machine(s) have only recently been serviced, then the visit will be charged for at rate A plus any traveling expenses, including accommodation, Flights, Transport costs if applicable. Work on machine(s) not on contract will be charged at rate B
  1. . Any emergency call outside normal working hours will be charged at standard overtime rates.
  1. The Company undertakes to advise the Client of the date and approximate time of the service engineer’s visit, and the Client undertakes to make the machine(s), covered by the contract, available for uninterrupted work at this time.
  1. The Client undertakes to make available, without charge, to the service engineer any lifting tackle he may require, and provide safe access facilities to enable him to work on the machine(s).
  1. In the event of it being found necessary to re-submit a machine for Trade Metrology inspection and the Client desiring the Company’s service engineer to be in attendance, this attendance time for the service engineer will be charged at rate A. All Trade Metrology fees must be paid by the Client.
  1. Major repairs, E.G. feed belt, or weigh hopper, are excluded from the contract. Such repairs would be charged on an hourly basis at rate A.
  1. Terms strictly 30 (thirty) days nett from date of invoice. Overdue accounts will be subject to 2.5 (two point five) % interest per month or part thereof.
  1. Both the Company and the Client have the right to cancel the contract at any time during the contract period. One calendar months’ notice of the cancellation to be submitted in writing. Any moneys owing by either party in connection with the contract to be remitted within 30 (thirty) days of termination.
  1. Whatsapp Group Forum will be initialized by the company for all decision makers within the clients personnel and key personnel at the company to assist is making decision faster and more transparent, It will be the responsibility of the client to update cellular telephone numbers in the event of personnel of interest within the clients.
