Individual accountability and responsibility is such an important and necessary life-skill to develop. We look forward to helping your children in the development of such skills. One of those responsibilities and choices is taking ownership of protecting their personal items and valuables.
East Jackson Comprehensive High School personnel WILL NOT be held responsible for any personal items misplaced, lost, or stolen before, during, or after Physical Education classes. It is the responsibility of the student to accept full responsibility for the security of his/her personal items and/or valuables.
Students will assume responsibility for securing their items and/or valuables by either of the following methods:
a. Leave ALL valuables at home.
- Lock valuables in their school locker.
- Bring their own lock and secure personal valuables in a P.E. locker. The lock must be removed each day when class is completed.
I understand the EJCHS Personal Items and Valuables procedure. I understand that my son/daughter is totally responsible and accountable for securing his/her personal items and/or valuables. I also understand that EJCHS personnel will not be held responsible for any items not secured by my son/daughter.
