JOB TITLE: Data and Intelligence Analyst

CRITERIA / ESSENTIAL
Qualifications and Training /
  1. Graduate status or equivalent
  2. Evidence of recent relevant professional development

Experience/Knowledge /
  1. Significant experience in a customer focused, data and information environment in an education context using a range of software applications.
  2. Experience of developing and implementing relevant policies, practices and procedures in line with current and future government legislation and guidance national best practice.
  3. Liaison with partners to scope information requests and management information reporting arrangements
  4. Producing management information reports for a range of audiences
  5. Experience of delivering training on relevant data and data packages, including commercial ICT systems and software
  6. Experience of working a multi-functional team in a dynamic work environment
  7. Experience of implementing change processes in the workplace

Skills/Abilities /
  1. Analytical Ability:
  • Understand the construction and use of performance indicators
  • Interpret complex and detailed quantitative and qualitative data accurately and quickly
  • Identify key issues accurately and interpret and explain trends and relationships
  • Ability to construct meaningful management information reports using a range of datasets in a range of formats to reflect customer requirements
