Target Audience

This program has been designed for physicians, fellows, residents, medical student in the medical specialties of allergy and immunology

Series Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with contact allergy
  • Educate patients about avoidance of allergens
  • Correctly order appropriate laboratory tests to evaluate to autoimmune disease
  • Explain to the attending and patient, how their autoimmune disease interacts with other immune diseases
  • Correctly diagnose various common and less common immunodeficiency diseases
  • Appropriately order laboratory and genetic testing to elucidate the type of immune disorder
  • Present to colleagues on topics learned, including contact dermatitis, common autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiencies

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the epidemiology, pathophysiology and natural history of psoriasis.
  • Become familiar with the rapidly expanding therapeutic armamentarium for psoriasis.
