ATM Fees – Ways to Avoid Paying a Fee

Effective April 1, 2017, the credit union initiated a $1.00 per ATM withdrawal transaction fee after 6 allowable transactions in one month. This is a minimal fee compared to other financial institutions fee which can be as high as $3.50.

The fee was initiated due to the debit card processor’s high program costs. Most credit union ATM’s have been surcharge-free outlasting other financial institutions. We would like to offer some tips on avoiding these fees:

  • Opt for Cash Back – Stores such as Rite-Aid and Walgreens will offer cash back without a fee.
  • Take Out Enough Cash for the Week – The less you visit the ATM, the less you’ll face the burden of trying to find a fee-free ATM.
  • Utilize the ATM around the corner – Community Regional Credit Union has a surcharge-free ATM on Foote Avenue for credit union members.
  • “Alliance One” ATM’s – The credit union is a member of

Loan Refinancing Update

Thank you for making such a difference in our loan portfolio!! Some members have responded to our call to help our bottom line by refinancing your current higher rate credit cards and car loans with the credit union.

This increase has helped us during 2017 first six months, however, the trend MUST continue in order for our small credit union to survive!

Remember, we will approve your loan in ONE day after qualifying! “Trade” you current loans with us and you can “skip” one month’s payment!

Change a Child’s Life

The change starts with you! Small miracles continue to happen to children experiencing illness through Children’s Miracle Network and Make-A-Wish Foundation. You can help continue these wonderful programs by simply depositing the change from your check or bringing in your extra rolled change. Since we’ve started this program in 2003, your change has accumulated over $4000 and was distributed between both programs. Please continue our credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” with this tradition.
