Peep Pre-school,Greater Leys, Oxford
Pre-school Practitioner – 16-20 hours per week, term time only
Pre-school Assistant(s) – 15 or 30 hours per week, temporary, term time only
We are looking for both permanent and temporary staff to join our Pre-school team in Greater Leys. Applicants need to be skilled at looking after the needs of 2 and 3 year olds and able to work with parents to encourage their involvement in their child’s learning. An interest in how young children learn and good communication skills are essential.
The Practitioner role would be suitable for an unqualified person with relevant experience although a level 2 or level 3 qualification is desirable. Rate of pay from £7.05 to £9.52 per hour.
The Assistant role does not require a specific qualification but a strong interest in looking after children with special needs (as this will be the main focus of the job) and a willingness to learn.
Rate of pay from £7.05 to £7.95 per hour. (National living/minimum wage applies to both roles.)
The Peep Pre-school opened in January 2015 at the Dovecote Centre, Nightingale Avenue, Greater Leys, Oxford and has places for 20 children aged 2 -4 per session. We work in partnership with parents and carers to provide the best possible care and education for young children before they start school.
