We’ve also begun to prepare for our debate re-enactment at the Old South Meeting House on the 13th.
Foreign Language:
-Students continue to learn the language of holidays. They are working on verb conjugation. This will ultimately lead to the students being able to describe their favorite holidays.

(Students were given roles on Thursday. They have their script in their binders).
-What are the three strategies that can be employed in persuasive writing?
(Ethos, Pathos, Logos)
-What does each mean? / ELA
-Introduction of Campaign video project (Monday). Keep an eye out for this packet, as I will be asking students to read through it with someone at home.
Global Studies: Field trip to Boston April 13th. Permission slips were sent home today (4/1). Please have these back before the end of next week. A copy of the permission slip will be loaded on the 6th grade page if your student misplaced theirs.
Science: Ecosystems posters and presentations due this coming week.
/ Remind your student that the third term is no time to let their foot off the gas. With the weather getting warm, vacation, Nature’s Classroom, and MCAS, there are a lot of distractions and routines are hard to keep up with. Checking in about on-going assignments and upcoming tests will help everyone to stay on track.
-Go over your student’s Ecosystems packet to ensure they are on track. Have them show you their powerpoint presentations.
Mr. Synnott is available at school each morning by 7:00 A.M. If your student would like some additional support, please feel free to contact him to arrange a day(s) to come in early.
