The Pearl River Delta Academy of International Trade and Investment Law (PRAIA) aims to provide education and training on international trade and investment law at the highest international level. It is international in scope, location, coverage, teaching staff and students. It covers WTO law, international investment law, investment treaty interpretation, international trade and investment dispute settlement, and selected current issues of transnational law and policy at the intersection of international and domestic law. It is designed for postgraduate students, early-career academics and researchers, and early-career lawyers working in government or private practice or as in-house counsel in private and public enterprises. It focuses particularly on Asian countries but its coverage is world-wide. PRAIA is based on cooperation between the Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM) and Peking University School of Transnational Law, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (STL), Shenzhen. It is supported by the Macau Foundation.
