Ice Storms Oklahoma – OK 1678 – Eligibility Officer – PA Assessed debris/damage in 6 counties. Inputted all data entry into computer, gps ,and also completed all paperwork associated with the PA plan. Certified debris hauler trucks in 2 counties. Monitored dump sites in both Haskell County and Pittsburg County’s. Painted damaged trees. Assessed 665 miles of roads in Haskell County. Monitored debris pick-up in both counties. Monitored landfill’s in 2 counties. .We used a tonnage system instead of cubic yards in both counties. I handled at the most 200 tons of debris a day to 30 tons a day. In McAllister Ok we assessed (for damaged trees and limbs) every single street and road there. We painted all damaged trees and limbs.

With the debris crews, we certified and measured and placarded all debris equipment. I also did the same in Haskell County.

I also monitored all crews daily for safety equipment; to be sure they were picking up the right debris and not fluffing their trucks with non-vegetarian debris.

I coordinated crews at the dump site and handled all their complaints.

Logged in and did all daily reports for landfills’, crew’s etc. including load tickets. I made sure all numbers were correct and exact every day.

I logged all tonnage,up to 220 ton’s of debris daily.

This was a 12 hour a day position and was until job completion.

I also met with the mayors of some smaller cities to get their info for their grants and when they handled their own clean up we monitored their landfills. We also documented with pictures and paperwork. We also coordinated with the State and city officials on applicable State law and regulations. LA - Hurricane Katrina – Debris Specialist /Eligibility OfficerResponsibilities included: Demolitions, I took a demolition of a whole house from the very beginning, verifying paperwork, shooting off before pictures, to job completion of the only thing remaining was a cement slab, if available. I did not leave my job site until we were completely finished. I did regular demos and also asbestos demos. PPDR (damage site form) completion, this entails finding the correct address, taking pictures, measuring the total structure, drawing a picture of the home and anything on the home site, and assessing if the structure is safe for occupation. Structure Assessment, same as the PPDR’S. Tree Assessment, This involved being on site and determine weather a tree was alive, damaged, and or needed to be brought down or if just a few limbs needed to be cut down. Tower operations, I worked closely with the landfill crews and the debris trucking crews to ensure the proper debris was placed in the proper location. Worked St. Bernard Parish and Orleans Parish, Louisiana

11/13/06 Moved from St Bernard Parish to Orleans to do Executive Order Tree Assessment. This included going from zone to zone assessing trees, taking pictures, documenting damage. We also monitored the tree cutting crews so they wouldn’t get too “cut happy”.

And I also worked Demo’s in New Orleans; however this differed from St Bernard Parish. My only job was to verify the address before the demo and then return after demo was completed. I also documented with pictures before and after.

I worked closely with the Corp of Engineers with trees and demolition, I was on call for the Corp and whenever called would go to the location to verify or deny assignment.
